Museum Biography Project

This project aligns with M.L.I.S. PLO 3.

This project was completed for LIS 60700: Foundations of Museum Studies. Through this project I was able to sit down and speak with the curator from the CU Boulder Art Museum. We had a conversation about her role at the museum as well as her motivations for pursuing a career in museums. This project also provided the opportunity to look at how a museum’s mission and vision govern the decisions made within the museum itself and how that allows them to best serve their community at large.
